Many people have warned me against buying Fluval. I did not listen! I've never had so many problems with an external filter in my life! I replaced and lubricated all four o-rings, checked from the outside, everything is fine, without disconnecting anything, brought it inside and installed it in my tank. and it sprays like a sprinkler! I'm a fanatic about my gear. I just used a lifetime supply of silicone grease on this one 205 filter! As long as I live I will never buy a Fluval again. If 406 runs out in my 75 gallon tank, that's it for Fluval. I have a home that I bought many years before Fluvals and never had to mess with it. I clean it every two months and it has never given me any problems and it was cheaper than Fluvals. I have many Fluval products and from what I have seen you are paying for a brand name and the quality is not good enough.
