We never had a problem with the smell of our black tank in our caravan. We always use a lot of water and managed to get rid of the smell from the black tank. This year, however, with a camper sitting next to a shed with some water in a black tank; The weather conditions were such that the smell from the black tank permeated our camper. I've used them on previous motorhomes but haven't bothered to fit them on this particular motorhome. I bought 2; one for black tanks and one for gray tanks. No odors in the RV within 24 hours of installation. You don't have to be driving 55 miles an hour on the freeway to get bad odors out of your tanks. A light breeze will start the process and your camper will get rid of the smell and stay that way. I can't say enough about how well they work. My only complaint is the price. I think $24 a piece is out of place, although I couldn't find anything else at a better price. While price was an issue, the results speak for themselves. MARVELOUS!
