I suppose this would work much better on a door that doesn't have a spring loaded closing hinge. He barely keeps my garage door open. If used on an interior door I believe it will work much better. So why three stars when it also works on an interior door? That's because it's been described as better and stronger than other models that look exactly the same and cost half the price. Thing is, nothing beats it. So find one that looks exactly the same for half the price and buy it instead. For spring loaded garage doors, find another way to keep them open.
