Overall I am very disappointed with this board. It has great features but is supported by poor documentation and bugs. The board is fast and cool and aids my memory so don't worry. I am using 5950x with 4000MHz memory. The processor supports at least 4.6 GHz on all overclocked cores. The first problem I encountered was the documentation. Instructions for using Qflash plus aren't great. You need a very accurately formatted USB stick (should be Fat32 with a block size of 16 KB), otherwise it just won't work. Windows doesn't let you use these settings on USB sticks of a certain size. In the end I found a working 4GB stick (if the stick is too small you can't select a 16KB allocation unit or maybe even Fat32. Fat doesn't work). The second problem is related to the NVME raid. I configured this setup and as instructed and the drives show up fine in the BIOS. However, they do not appear on Windows. SATA drives show up fine, but NVME drives don't. Instead of appearing as a single logical drive, they appear as separate drives and do not show the drives in the raid tool at all. The third problem relates to embedded audio. I have a 5.1 channel system with analog inputs. This worked fine on my old system, but on this system I can't get any sound from the rear, center, or sub channels. Windows recognizes connected devices and assigns them correctly. However, when I check the audio, I can see the audio playing on the volume knob (the meter is moving), but I can't hear anything. I've tried reconfiguring ports and using other ports but nothing. Levels are set correctly on the surround channels. I tested line and mic input on the same ports and nothing. Tried with Windows Control Panel and Realtek App. It seems very programmatic, but to me. My previous Gigabyte board (Z170xp) was perfect. Unfortunately, this is a long way from that.
