Very stable with Ryzen 5800x and 64BG DDR4 4000

03/17/21 - fitted 02/20/21. I've reviewed MANY x570 boards and read MANY reviews. This MB has appeared in at least the top five averages on most review sites. GB was my last personal MB for my setup replacing it in 2012. I wanted another brand, but availability, price, and features eventually led me to it (I wanted a master but can't find it). And since my previous Intel build was from 2012 GB and it still works fine, I went with it. I have no regrets and am very happy. I received Rev 1.1. I…

Pros
  • Triple Super Fast NVMe PCIe 4.0/3. 0x4 M.2 with triple heat shield
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Ideal for gamers and audiophiles

I often see this motherboard compared to Master, Extreme or Pro WiFi. Master and Extreme are praised for the additional features, but Ultra is usually less popular as it is very similar to Pro Wifi. They are similar to each other but not the same. (M.2 Heatsink*3) vs 2 and (Realtek 2.5GbE + Intel Gigabit LAN) vs Intel only are the main points to consider. Is it worth the extra $50? No, if you buy Ultra used or refurbished the prices are about the same. :-) Ultra and Master don't differ that…

Pros
  • Rear amp with 125dB SNR gain and alc1220-vb
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Good features but buggy

Overall I am very disappointed with this board. It has great features but is supported by poor documentation and bugs. The board is fast and cool and aids my memory so don't worry. I am using 5950x with 4000MHz memory. The processor supports at least 4.6 GHz on all overclocked cores. The first problem I encountered was the documentation. Instructions for using Qflash plus aren't great. You need a very accurately formatted USB stick (should be Fat32 with a block size of 16 KB), otherwise it just

Reliable but I understand why people have gone with others.

Good. I've had the board for a while. Can only be used this week. Sorry seller, I had to wait for the processor at Christmas. Spring. It's a huge upgrade over the gaming x370 5 right now. This thing hasn't given me a single boot error, unlike the x370 which I haven't turned off the year I've had it. Startup issues sometimes took half an hour to 45 minutes to boot from the cold, and even then BSODs would appear after a while. Not this board. I even threw a low-level unmanaged OS at it before…

READ FIRST: Bad Board - Memory Support Issues, Poor Quality Control.

UPDATE 03/2020: Applied BIOS update v. Crucial 4x16GB DDR4 support still not working. BSOD @ 3200. This board likely has some major design issues behind the unicorn level of supported 4x16GB memory configuration. UPDATE 12/2019: The BIOS update v.F11 seems to have fixed the USB keyboard crashing issue. XMP (3200) support for my Crucial 4x16GB DDR4 is still broken. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Quality control first: My phone arrived, I transferred parts of my old AM4 AB350 (3800x included) and switched to…
