Good. I've had the board for a while. Can only be used this week. Sorry seller, I had to wait for the processor at Christmas. Spring. It's a huge upgrade over the gaming x370 5 right now. This thing hasn't given me a single boot error, unlike the x370 which I haven't turned off the year I've had it. Startup issues sometimes took half an hour to 45 minutes to boot from the cold, and even then BSODs would appear after a while. Not this board. I even threw a low-level unmanaged OS at it before setting up Windows. No crashes and my 3600 ran 4.0 all cores with no issues during setup. Even the memory runs fine with the 3200 xmp profile. I'm a bit concerned that we're back to motherboards with chipset fans. Especially since half of the chipset sits under my Vega Gpu. Although it works cool with my fan layout. Communication was a difficult pill to swallow. My Gaming 5 does NOT have fixed USB 2.0 ports and this mobo has 4 fixed ports. So that means just a couple of fixed USB3 ports. I had to rip out an old USB3.0 expansion card. Mobo and card didn't work well so I couldn't use it. So with my other USB peripherals plugged in, I have to forgo using my VR setup for later. I like less built-in RGB lighting. The Gaming 5 was a tricky host when it came to RGB software. It's much better, although lacking. 2 backlight zones and a graphics card is basically hiding. The remaining zones are two analog RGB and two digital RGB headers. But I like less RGB sticking out of my case window. The lighting is more subtle. With Windows 10, the mainboard worked and worked from the start. I went back and replaced the drivers provided by windows with the latest drivers from the manufacturer. In addition to the AMD drivers. They are more up to date on the amds website lol yes. The BIOS is easier to navigate, with the added feature of putting your favorite setting changes on the main tab for easy access to the BIOS. When booting for the first time, mobo takes a long time to adjust to the installed hardware. It took my computer about five or six minutes to create my original post before I saw the BIOS splash screen. No questions. Even with the lowest BIOS version and no drivers, this motherboard supports Windows installation and booting from all m.2 slots. Keep in mind that using the m.2C slot, the smallest, with a PCI Express NVMe drive makes it impossible to use the SATA HDD ports 4 and 5. This is really just the second downside I've encountered. First, it is a compromise between USB2 and USB3. I have a gigabit network backbone so I don't know how wifi works, but bluetooth is reliable and stable.
