With 3 large dogs, we have a serious dog poop problem in the backyard. We buy compostable dog food bags but they are too small for a full cleaning of our large yard. These colourful, biodegradable bags are just the right size for garden cleaning. These 8 gallon bags are big enough to handle a few days of poop and have enough room at the top to tie without feeling like my hands are close to the ground. waste (fu!). My community separates yard waste from landfill and using these biodegradable bags means I can put poop bags in leaf and grass bags knowing they will all decompose together. My only downside is that they are a lot thinner than other compostable bags. I use. My nails tore holes in some of the pockets they were in, ripping open the edges and tying them together. This isn't a huge problem for me because I pick up yard trash and then immediately throw the whole bag away, but I wouldn't trust them in a kitchen trash can that takes days to fill.
