First, I paid 20.500 for them at a reputable German retailer. The sheer volume of reviews mentioning "white noise" scared me, and I had no luck tracking it down. Either the initial batch of products sold was flawed or not everyone is able to hear it. I can confidently state that this purchase was warranted after making it. If there wasn't any wire, I could breathe a lot easier. Even with occasional breaks away from the laptop, the battery lasts me a full 20 hours, leaving the other fully charged by the time I return. The auricle is only mildly and infrequently inflamed, but that is largely a matter of habit, and the ears themselves do not hurt, which is a pleasant surprise. There is zero interest in going back to the days of plugs and bulky A4 technology. They really shouldn't have been that cheap as to leave out gamedac from the package.
