My preference is for a black, very flexible case for my phone - one that protects but can easily be taken off and put back on. This case fulfills most of that. Once it's on, it isn't easy to remove, so it doesn't work to hide a card or note behind the phone. When I couldn't quite find the perfect case, I bought this one about 18 months ago. Since then, I've dropped my phone many, many times and the phone is still in perfect condition. Sadly when I dropped it a couple of weeks ago, the case got a small crack in one corner. I tried again for a more flexible case, but not finding it, I've purchased the same one again. The case is rubbery enough that it doesn't easily slide off a surface, including my dashboard. My first one did its job well for 18 months and then gave its life for my phone. Overall a success story.
