We bought nine of these cordless curtains (three for the living room and two each for three bedrooms). They are easy to install; four pilot holes and four screws, after which they snap into place. If you need to remove them again, I recommend loosening the screw on the back of the bracket that holds the metal clip. I broke one of the metal clips when trying to open one of the curtains to take it off. A broken metal clip means an unusable umbrella. We bought and we like shades of white. We didn't like the color of a number of naturals we bought. Once installed they are a bit stiff to move up and down but are definitely functional. I hope that this stiffness will wear off over time. I really like that they don't have any external cables, but they don't always hang completely flat on the bottom. So sometimes we need to pull a little harder on one side to make it look straight. We wanted to mount them on the inside of our wooden window frame, but they don't have holes on the back of the plastic bracket. so that the screws get into the pulp of the window. So I drilled two pilot holes in each bracket where I needed them. It seems to be working great. I just want the manufacturer to offer this option; it seems that this is usually necessary. Of course it's very good value for money compared to what you might get elsewhere. HTH, <death>
