I bought several of these tops as Christmas gifts and also one for myself. I can't talk about gifts yet but I can give my opinion on what I bought for myself (not this one, the one I ordered for myself was blue). I ordered a large one on the recommendation of the company. I'm 5'8 and weigh about 156 pounds. I found the oversized shirt to fit, but it was quite tight. I have decided to order another shirt (as I like to be outside in winter) a size larger for myself and once this shirt is delivered I will be able to provide more accurate sizing feedback. The lavender color for the gift shirt looks beautiful. I ordered my first shirt in light blue and I liked the color. If you don't want it to be too tight, I would order a size up.
