This is an almost great element that succeeds in most cases, but unfortunately fails in one important one. For me it's almost 3.5. Good news: * This washing machine is quite long - 48 inches to pull out and over 80 inches (6ft 8!) of ladder or just a small one. Finally no more pulling on the pull-out ladder!* The pull-out latch keeps the pull-out securely in place and does not come loose during use.* The serrated tab, which allows the pane to be tilted sideways or backwards, also works great and is indispensable , if you push it further up and for windows that are pushed back into a wider frame. * Wrapping the washer at the ends allows for cleaning in the corners as stated but see below due to a disadvantage * A third setting which allows you to tilt the end of the washer left and right works well and is for cleaning the top and lower edges of the window required. The problem is that it's just a strip of rubber right at the top of the washer. r so that the parts of the washing machine so useful for corners also end up tending to drag across the window when you try to dry the window with a mop. So when you dry the center of the squeegee, re-wet the edges. Basically everything is useless. What is required is to have the squeegee blade around one's neck so it can stay away from the puck. Bottom Line: As a window cleaner this product is great and comes close, but not close enough to also be a good mop. In this form you need a separate scraper extension. Haven't found it yet. Note: This product works best when paired with a rectangular detergent pail. Otherwise, you will have to wet each end of the washer separately.
