Strong, small details make great
I bought a cheaper version of the velvet hangers a few months ago and really didn't like the quality. The velvet had already peeled off in places, they looked thin, and two were torn shortly after they were put on. Not this one. They appear to be the quality you get at Costco and have a little extra detail like "dips" for the thin straps you want to hang. This suggests he can handle 50 pounds. This is a blatant lie. But they are still good/worthy. I wish they could hold pants not just ties but the same.
