HuddleCamHD 3x USB PTZ camera worth a look

After a few bumps in the road I can say that the HuddleCamHD 3x PTZ camera is worth a look. This is a very reliable PTZ camera for the price. If you are a small business and on a fairly tight budget, $400 is the real deal when it comes to PTZ cameras for conferencing. The initial issues I had with HuddleCamHD 3x PTZ cameras were mostly homegrown. Since it comes with a remote control, I started pressing the buttons and hitting the wrong ones. The remote control accepts up to 3 cameras. I enjoyed pressing the buttons, I either pressed the camera button 2 or maybe 3. After my insane button press I couldn't get HuddleCam to work (period) and at first I didn't know why. After visiting the instruction manual and finally figured it out. As soon as I pressed camera button 1, HuddleCamHD came alive again. Pros: Economical ($400). As far as I know, you won't find a PTZ camera at this price. Works great with programs like Skype for video conferencing. Works with most video encoders for live streaming or video production. I know it works fine with vMix live video encoder. Guarantee 2 years. HuddleCamHD 3x can be set up by almost anyone in minutes. A USB (2.0) connection allows use with older computers that do not have USB 3.0. Please note that the HuddleCamHD is backward compatible with USB 3.0. The camera is best used in small meeting rooms or studios with 360 degree rotation so it can cover an entire room. Cons: HuddleCamHD 3x does not perceive bright light well. Works best in dim lighting; like the type of lighting found in most meeting rooms. Short zoom. Don't expect this camera to be suitable for large conference rooms. The lens is a compromise for the price of the camera. This is not the super high quality lens found on PTZ cameras that cost a lot more. One thing you might notice is that the colors aren't quite right. USB 2.0 tends to provide much better video compared to more expensive USB 3.0 PTZ cameras. HuddleCamHD-3XG2 USB 2.0 PTZ 1080p Video Conferencing Camera - Black
