My daughter is 8 years old and has a very thin body. It's hard to find swim trunks that hug the waist and stay in place under the buttocks. These swim trunks fit perfectly. The lap belt is thick enough to fit snugly around the waist, but not too thick to be constricting or uncomfortable. The same applies to the leg ends, which are tight but not too tight. These are the best bikini bottoms I have ever found for her. Although she's slim I think they would be great for other body types too - just watch the sizes. These are true to size. I'm glad I found them and will be ordering more.
