I bought this hanger a few months ago to keep my coat close to my front door at home. This hanger has served me well, but there are three reasons I would not recommend purchasing this hanger. 1) Poor quality wood. My hanger has a few spots where the wood has been visibly sanded before finishing. 2) It comes in several parts. The main pole consists of three parts, the legs are not included and you also need to attach the hooks yourself. This isn't necessarily a reason not to buy it individually, but on my hanger the pieces don't fit together as smoothly as I'd hoped. 3) One of the hooks on my hanger started breaking in half. a long. It hasn't really broken yet, but I have a feeling it's just a matter of time. (UPDATE - 9/2012: Hook completely broken off. Another snapped.) If you're just looking for a cheap hanger, this one might do the trick. If you want something you can depend on for years, buy something else.
