This life jacket is very nice, good quality, well made and fits perfectly. I am 5 feet 4 inches tall and weigh 134 pounds. I bought a large one based on other reviews. It's neoprene with memory foam construction. I bought this particular PFD because it had a zip and buckles for added security and a better fit. .The buckles were too strong for me to undo. After 15 minutes I was finally able to open them to try on the life jacket. Unacceptable. (I'm 65 and have some arthritis in my thumbs.) It fit perfectly, was comfortable and didn't restrict movement. The length was ok, it didn't reach the ears (like some PFDs). , Otherwise this is a FIVE STAR product (I returned it)
