I'm a petite lady with a long torso. This means that most women's tops are always too short, and I often find better fits with small or extra small men's slim-fit hoodies. This one looked perfect to wear casually in the summer with leggings.but this one isn't going to work.The title claims that this is a sweatshirt, this is not true. This is a thin single layer of rough cotton. I've washed and dried mine several times to soften it up without success. The multiple washing has revealed this hoodie's real talent - collecting dog fur. Yes, I have dogs and always expect some furs to survive the washer and dryer, but this hoodie's fur collecting is EXCEPTIONAL. I kind of think that the rest of the laundry is cleaner because this pullover catches and keeps so many canine fibers.If you're also a lady wanting longer tunics this might work for you if you want a thin summer-weight that's a little scratchy, and you don't have pets or lint in your life. I am 5'3" with a long torso. I generally wear medium leggings, and small (women's) t-shirts; so I'm.a slim pear shape.If this pullover was actually sweatshirt material (thicker cotton, fleece-like interior) I would buy this again in a medium for a more loose fit. But I'll keep it for a few months though, just to keep in the laundry room to collect dog fur from the laundry.
