10/100 vs. Gigabit Protection
Purchased card and drivers installed on product CD. There is a problem with the Ethernet LAN cabling going through my APC BX1500LCD Surge Protector (which only supports 10/100 baud rates). The solution was to bypass the APC BX1500LCD's Ethernet to provide Gigabit LAN speeds. Purchase an APC PNET1GB to add RJ-45 security to the PC. Keep this in mind when connecting your PC to the switch/router if you don't get Gigabit LAN after installing the card and drivers from the CD.
