It really does seem to wick away the heat and, when I do get warm, I just fold it back give it a few seconds and then it seems cooler again. Although it feels cool to the touch at first it’s not like a cold pack; The science is in its longevity. I will note that it is very very slippery; that hasn’t been a problem for me because of the over/under way I’m using it. If it were just laying on top of me I think it would slither off all night which would be annoying. In my opinion it’s well worth giving this a try if you run hot at night!
