When I first purchased this product I would give it 5 stars in all three categories of ease of use, thorough cleaning and versatility. I was so impressed with the performance that I recommended it ahead of time. Within 3 months of infrequent use (I'm afraid I'm not very homely or disciplined about my cleaning lol) the machine only works intermittently. And now it's completely useless. Components also get stuck and can hardly be removed even with the help of my strong son. I called 800 and got a call and the gentleman politely said he would fix it. When I called several times, there was no answer at all. So now I'm stuck with a steam mop that doesn't work at all. Not even 9 months have passed. According to the description it is a British product. If you look at the information on the bottom of the device, this not only indicates that it is Made in China, but also that the Chinese manufacturer is listed. When I checked the Light n Easy website, where I would also make a formal complaint, it was clear that the owner did not speak English and the content also contained Chinese characters. I hope that you have better experiences than me in the medium to long term. I do not recommend this product and its customer service.
