Questionable quality control ***Addition*** Excellent service after

***Addition below***This product has good and bad sides. This is a 4 star product if not for the poor quality control. I've read other reviews on the same subject, so I'm hoping the company can fix this issue. Good first. This is definitely a high performance design. I attached my Thrustmaster TMX steering wheel, all-metal pedals and derailleur. The pedals attach after some fiddling, but they're solid there. This product has good adjustment, suitable for most people. This rolling stand does not move on carpets. The switch worked fine but I can't figure out how to fix it fixed. This is normal as it is easier to move the stand when the switch is not attached. It's a nice product too. This thing won't tip over even if you drive your sim like crazy. Now for the bad. It's heavy, especially with Thrustmaster pedals attached. When everything is attached, it is extremely inconvenient to fold and move. It's not too bad given the alternatives, but make no mistake you can run a marathon on this thing. My particular unit came with these weird looking plastic caps not shown in the videos that make the shifter more durable. It's good in a way, but now I don't see a way to just push the shifter out like in the video. If I don't use a claw hammer it won't go out. The Ever.My TMX wheel was not easy to install. The clamp just couldn't grip the mounting plate. I had to flip the mounting plate, put on an extra bracket and secure with rubber bands. It was a terrible pain, but it worked and is actually pretty solid. If you want to permanently mount your TMX wheel, you have to order an adapter. Worst of all, seriously, be careful with your hands. The first thing I did was cut my finger on something trying to get it out of the bubble wrap. It was a small nickname, but still. It was patch #1. Bands #2 and #3 came out when I turned the plastic thumbscrew to adjust the baseplate. I broke off a piece of my finger from the edge of the baseplate. The base is sheet metal and has obviously not been rounded as it should have been. After some scolding and stopping the bleeding, I inspected the bottom plate. It's sharp on all sides. It can cut paper without much effort. This is totally unacceptable as you really have to lend a hand to set things up. Tomorrow I'll seal the edges with tape, but that's not necessary. Maybe what happened to my baseplate is an accident. Hopefully. I love to see game companies succeed and I hate writing bad things about them. Perhaps their quality control staff should be alerted. ***Addendum*** I reported the incident directly to the company. The response was prompt and professional. Every email was answered and the company did everything they could to rectify the situation. I am very satisfied and have increased my rating to 4 stars. After extensive use and receiving an adapter to permanently mount my wheel, the wheel stand has performed well for the price. It folds as advertised, but is a bit awkward to move, mostly due to my heavy pedals. Of course, any extra weight you add makes the process more difficult. There is obviously no way around it. The only thing better than this stand on wheels is the complete set, but obviously it will be much more difficult to move. It's great value for money, especially if you'd rather play more games than just race every day. Many thanks to the company for their services.
