Review on πŸ₯Ύ Enhance Your Traction with Kahtoola MICROspikes Footwear by Adam Nelson

Not model 2016/2017

I firmly believe that they will eventually fail. I've had a few older models and they were solid. I lost them so I had to replace them. I've seen several of the new microspikes fall apart on the Appalachian and Pacific Ridge trails. I was hoping to buy the old ones but a new cheap model has arrived. The box even says they won the 2018 Backpacker Editors' Choice Award - a sticker on the bottom of the box claims it's a 2015/2016 model. The tracks on the newer Micro cleats are cheaply made and will break after serious use. The rubber that wraps around your shoe is thinner and will break if it hits a rock. Seriously, Kahtula, pull yourself together. It used to be a product for serious outdoor enthusiasts. Now that they've made a name for themselves, the quality of the products has dropped a lot. I will look for alternatives in the future.
