I was very afraid of collaring my cats and refused after seeing a cat being collared and starting to get convulsions. I haven't gone down this route in a very long time and have used Frontline on my cats' necks. It seemed to work, but only up to the 8 month period they suggested. for every fall they will return. My husband died about 2 years ago and this was an immediate problem: they were scratching, nervous and fleas were clearly visible on their faces and bodies. (I did what I always did and started the front line and this time it didn't seem to work. I was in a dilemma when the bottom got rid of them and the cats still owned them. I know it there were no vets to see them and just told me to wash them with dish soap which upset them greatly and they scratched my chest where I have a heart surgery scar on my chest I was against them and it gave no help taking care of them.after going through a series of flea treatments to take care of my mats.I was still seeing fleas on my cats.That's when I decided to switch to a flea collar.Wanted to hurt my cats with what I did wanted to use it so i looked for collars made from natural ingredients i saw this one and it had a lot of good reviews and nothing happened to the cats wearing it so i broke down and thought let's try it., i have to say n since I started using them Well my cats have of course gotten used to them and haven't had any problems. Bleeding on the spot, not losing hair, and they started wearing them in a big way! My flea situation is now under control, from floors to cats to beds and everyone seems happy. I put on my first collars in November 2021 and they are still going strong. I was so excited that I could trust this brand and the results, I have already bought my second collars and will not need them until June of this year.
