I use it as a nose ring and I love the size. I was worried it would give me an allergic reaction as I am sensitive to cheap metals but I wore it continuously for a week and had no irritation. The pen is not very long so it fits comfortably in my nose. I have seen other jewelry from this seller receive comments about tarnishing. I haven't noticed any fading on this piece yet, but if I do I'll update my review. As long as I'm happy with it. Update: It doesn't screw on tight enough, it kept falling out until I lost the top jewel. It might just be where I posted it, but it's worth knowing.
