Review on πŸ’¨ Sharper Image AXIS 16 Airbar Tower Desk Fan with Task Light: Powerful Cool Breeze and Adjustable Illumination in Sleek Black Design by Shannon Redd

I love the idea of a vertical tower fan on your desk.

Okay, this might get long, but it might help people who buy it. So I need this little brother of the fans at Wal-Mart a week ago. From the packaging I didn't know it was a clearer image. But when I looked at the box, I noticed that it is a desktop fan. When I say "tower fan" I think that's the only way to explain that this fan uses long blades in a cylindrical configuration instead of regular round fans. Sounds weird I know. Most of the tower fans you use in your living room work in a similar way. I wanted a fan similar to that thinking but for my desk. Then I see a little guy. I bought it. I love the idea of having this type of fan blade on my desk in a horizontal position just behind my keyboard. It pushes air across my desk, up to my chest and the bottom of my head in the position it's in now, covering the width of my shoulders. Most desk fans in the past were only good for covering the face or neck area. It's like 3-4 fans are pointing right at me. That's what I've always wanted from a desktop fan. So I've now bought the big brother and it does the same thing but with more range. I almost want to get a 47" but that would be crazy and would cover my whole table. I hope other companies follow this line of thinking. I would also like to see an air-cooled version for the height of summer when Southern California gets hot and stale You can live in Cali without air conditioning, you just need to know how to circulate the air Pros: Excellent coverage of the fan area A unique concept that I haven't seen from other brands Has a clearer picture of the build quality. The plastic feels solid and the construction is solid. The photo shows a 12" and a 16" airbar for comparison. You can only clean around the bars. We'll see if that's a problem in time, they have metal for that used the fan blades so it might be ok. Light is a waste of time. Its position is wrong and useless in most situations. Honestly I would have v Might prefer a controllable RGB light bar to set the "mood" over a table lamp that doesn't do its job properly.
