Ideal for little praying mantises! (better lid needed)

This is a great aviary for little mantises/nymphs! I placed my L2 Ghost Mantis nymph (shown in the flat cup it came in, right and closeup in the photo). The praying mantis shown in the product images is an L7-8 ghost mantis (adult) and this enclosure is not suitable for L6 or higher (the praying mantis needs space 3 times its length in height and 2 times in width to accommodate ensure proper placement). Pros: - Good ventilation on all sides (front clean to view which is a plus) - Good size for nymphs/juvenile praying mantis - Plastic mesh lid (safe for small praying mantis feet) - Small vents are enough to prevent the smallest fruit flies from escaping. Cons: - The lid is not very secure and just slides into the grooves from above. If you live in a house that doesn't have cats or kids this shouldn't be a problem, but I went ahead and put duct tape on one side to make a loop. I plan to go to a craft store to find a loop for a jewelry box to make it more cat proof. I don't know where the jewelry was purchased but I'm not 100% sure it was clean enough. for use as it's usually unsafe to use random sticks and plants outdoors due to possible pesticide contamination (also the stick was too big for the container lol). Also, I just used a rolled up paper towel instead of the supplied backing as they hold moisture decently and don't risk mold growth where you can't see it. The page isn't very useful if your flies come straight out of the culture tank. I only feed at the top when my mantis isn't hanging off the lid. (Also, at first I thought I didn't have a plug for the hole, but it just ended up on the bottom)
