Let me first say that our orthopedic mattress was purchased new only 5 years ago and is still in excellent condition. It's very comfortable and overall my husband and I sleep well. Because of this, we never thought about buying a mattress topper. Why bother? And then we went on vacation and stayed the night at AirBnB where he was and the difference was amazing. I swear to you, I've never slept so well in my life. The day we got home from vacation I decided to find a nice fluffy mattress pad and we settled on this one. As soon as it arrived I put it on our bed and had the best night's sleep in years. We've been using it for over 2 weeks now and I can absolutely say it's the best money we've ever spent. My husband has stopped tossing and turning and I sleep through the night and find myself having more vivid dreams than I used to, which indicates I am having a deep, restful sleep. Would I consider this a necessary purchase before buying it? no Would I buy it again? In a hot moment Seriously, throw it in the trash and check it out... you won't regret it.
