With no previous reviews I gave this relatively new product a try and am glad I did. As a consumer, I had to monitor the humidity and temperature in the basement. I'm often away from home and the possibility of a dehumidifier going out for an extended period of time can have dire consequences for mold in the south. This UK company is clearly focused on processing and agricultural applications, but for my limited consumer purposes it doesn't fit. turns out exceptionally well. It was a bit tricky to set up, but changing to a different home SSID solved the problem. This device successfully adds to my IoT (Internet of Things) collection of smoke detectors, thermostats and light switches and now I can control basements from anywhere. The computer application works well with easy-to-read charts and customizable reports. Rules can be configured to send email notifications, e.g. B. when a certain humidity level is reached or a device is switched off. I tested this feature and it worked great. The phone app is cluttered and poorly customizable (like Cº instead of Fº shown in the desktop app), but the responsive support team tells me that this app will be improved soon. I see a bright future for this company and their large industrial devices and also for my home consumer who needs easy remote monitoring of humidity/temperature readings that helps. I recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap and efficient remote monitoring.
