Cheap and poor quality plated steel.
Cheap and poor quality. Obviously no heat treatment. The grooved strip is stretched and does not tighten tightly. The cross slot can be easily removed. Better buy from your local hardware store. Also note that this is NOT stainless steel but coated steel which is likely to rust in a humid environment such as a bathroom.
