Review on Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom πŸ“· Lens - International Version: Exceptional Image Stability & No Warranty by Mohd Taufik ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

The resolution of the lens is in the range of 100-120 lines per millimeter of the photomatrix, for such a price category - a good result. Subjectively, the lens is relatively light (in terms of weight). Given that there is a working stabilizer, a large range of focal lengths, then with other advantages (see above) this is an excellent value for money. Some pros: 1) Almost no chromatic aberration. 2) Good image resolution in the center and at the edges, slightly decreasing with increasing focal length. With its cons. 1) At a large aperture, vignetting is noticeable at all focal lengths. 2) Fully plastic construction. 3) If you put on a polarizing filter, it will rotate during autofocusing of the lens. 4) Each lens has its own features / disadvantages (very unstable build quality).

When buying, I chose from three, all worked differently! On one autofocus worked more slowly, buzzed, missed. On the other, it refused to work in low light. You can see the downside of being cheap. I recommend to choose personally! I am quite satisfied with my own, fast, quiet, not bulky, the stabilizer really helps.
