The magnet is not super strong
I had to look for another solution. I liked the idea of having a doorstop that sits semi-flush with the floor when not in use. However, I feel like the distance from the bottom of my door to the floor is pretty normal, maybe less than half an inch? And the magnet wasn't strong enough to pull the tab and hook the door. These things would be perfect if your doors opened very close to ground level/floor but it didn't work for me. I had to send them back.
