Games need cordless headphones, but we also wanted to be able to listen to music for review or to transfer to a different device. In this context, the following criteria for sound were established: musicality (4), sound in games (5), and placement (4) (I rarely play online shooters). The headphones I have are perfect for my needs. Without any alterations, the earbuds are a snug fit for both my head and that of my 4-year-old son. The longest I've ever played is four hours, and I never get weary or uncomfortable. At first, the illumination bothered me because it was visible in the periphery of my vision, but eventually, I stopped noticing it. I haven't figured out how to entirely disable it yet. The game's sound wheel is broken, so when I activated the microphone and tried to hear what was happening, nothing came through until I restarted the system. The software supports "surround sound," which simulates several speakers, however the talk behind me (in the game) is barely audible while using this mode, whereas it sounds fine when using the default stereo mode. The area of effect is limited; as I leave the room, the noise goes away. The headphones have met all of my expectations and more.
