Review on 🥤 SodaStream Source Sparkling Water Maker - White (Carbonator sold separately) by Ray Cole

I loved the first generation Soda Stream and used it every day until it finally died. Replaced it with this one which is a design disaster and fails regularly. No written instructions are provided, only illustrations that do not come close to explaining the intricacies required to operate this newly developed machine. I called tech support and although the lady I spoke to was patient and explained the exact technique needed to keep the machine from splashing water on the kitchen counter, it took me months of practice to get it right command. And I just found after putting in a new canister that I need to retrain my "touch". I suppose the only reason I "mastered" the fine art of using this thing is because the canister wasn't fully charged and so wasn't prone to splashing water all over the place. This canister is also a problem getting in and out. No happy camper here. If there were a reasonable alternative, I'd be very happy to go with it.
