Depending on what you use the flashlight for, its position varies. I wanted one for the hallway. The sensor also triggers when I'm in the living room and the light on the TV in the living room changes. I had to rearrange the light to prevent this. It's great for nighttime lighting in the bathroom or if you want to place it under your kitchen cabinet so you can have a late-night snack without turning on the light. I like it because I spent a lot of money on batteries. It's great because I can charge it with a micro USB cable (everyone has one) and I don't have to spend money on batteries.
