I didn't have a wired doorbell and wanted a video doorbell that could store video locally and also sound around the house. This is the only solution I've been able to find that doesn't require a subscription or existing doorbell wiring. Installation and setup was easy with the app. The app provides a way to set up motion detection zones and set radar detection to repeat when notifications aren't required when they're triggered automatically. Cloud recording option requires subscription at $4.49 for 14 days or $9.99 for 30 days. Otherwise the entries are saved in the home base and overwritten if necessary. Support is very responsive and helpful. The only downsides of this product: - limited description of the settings in the application. For example, there is a "Breathing Light” setting. The? It must be a translation problem from Chinese. - The mounting bracket has a locking mechanism to fix the doorbell, which is very easy to break even without a special pin to unlock the doorbell from the bracket. - Technical support is very helpful when reachable via email. I tried the published phone number but only got a busy signal. Aosu said they were investigating and it may be fixed by now.
