Works as expected but USB is tight

It works exactly like the official 3DS charger and fits my 3DS perfectly, but when the USB Type-A is plugged into an adapter or USB port, it is it very tight. Not sure if it'll get better with time or if it's always tight, but plugging in the USB Type-A connector is tricky. I've tried this with multiple USB ports.
