It looks like a real wax candle, I tell you. But $30?! I really need to read the descriptions before I add them to the cart. I understand you should get longer run times (up to 600 hours) with larger "C" batteries per manufacturer, but the battery compartment is large enough to add up to 4 "AA" for more run time. Or even lithium would give the same results. Who the heck buys "C” or even "D” type batteries now? Unless you're a kid with an 80's boom box. Here's a thought... why not a built in rechargeable battery with a USB cable? Let's talk about the simplicity and versatility of the remote control... oh yes I can't... because there was no remote control in the box! Oh, and it should be odorless... of course, if you call that sweet smell of plastic odorless, then yes, it is odorless. Can't comment on the timer function as I would have to buy "C" size batteries for it to work as it doesn't come with it for $30. I can also no longer speak about the brightness due to the lack of two miserable batteries that could be included with the kit. If my "candle" had come with the remote I would have dragged myself to the store and bought it, but alas, why bother when the product is missing parts. happen
