Looking for a durable mat for our 2 year old pup who loves to dig in the dirt and make a mess! This color is really amazing and we will get different throw pillows to better match the red sofas. The rug is much softer than I expected and its thickness is perfect. In general, if you buy a $130 rug from Amazon, it's not going to meet all of your needs. A potentially HUGE downside for some people is the smell of exhaust fumes. I really hate chemical smells and would like another buyer to include this in their review. Right now the carpet is soaked in baking soda and all the windows are open and both of my air purifiers are running on top. The smell was very very strong. I hope it resolves soon. To update! I've had the rug for three days now, the smell is still there but much better than the first day. I also like that it doesn't fizz when we walk on it! Ideal.
