I wish I knew then what I know now

First I was waiting for something that would allow me to convert all my albums to digital format and then convert the music file to mp3, wav or wma then format into my ipod, much less than 500-600 bucks, seemed to cost everything. Finally, I hit my mother with a weight. I did some short research after Christmas and decided on this product for the price. Let's face it, once you've picked up your LPs you won't need this pack unless you continue collecting LPs and cassettes, so I skipped the bells and whistles and just focused on what I needed. In this respect I am satisfied with my purchase. My regret stems from the realization that I could have used my expensive turntable and cassette deck instead of buying this one (WARNING, this applies ONLY to you if your turntable/deck has a preamp to boost the volume to a comparable level raise). CD and RCA cables for connecting to a computer with an adapter available from Wal-Mart or a similar store). After the smoke clears, I'll have two turntables. The included software is a plus. It does its job neatly, and once you figure out how it works, you can do some nice editing, fade in or out, and stitch together. The name is Pyro 5. I suggest you look for the software separately and use your old player if possible. Make sure you have enough storage space. I recommend this bundle of products for the price you pay. In that respect, it's worth every penny, especially when you consider that I can listen to my records again, which have been gathering dust for over thirty years.

Pros
  • Beautiful design
Cons
