Better than the regular medical masks I usually wear. The advantages of wearing this mask over others are that 1) it stays attached to your face. It has 2 ear loops that go around the ear and a strap that goes around the neck. The ones I usually wear break every time and need to be replaced. 2) It can be adjusted to the shape of your nose and cover your mouth and nose area. 3). Breathing valves make breathing through the mask much easier. 4) looks cool. although it may not be for everyone. For people who are not used to it, there may be a slight discomfort at first, and the smell of the new mask will remain, but will disappear over time. This is the mask I wear when I go out during Covid.
