I have been cutting my husband's and children's hair for several years. Needed a replacement (thanks, pandemic). This hair clipper yelps and scares my six year old. On the side it has a "variable motor" propeller. We've started cutting, everything seems fine. But in the middle of the clip (and her hair is already short) it got really loud, which scared her a lot, and she stopped cutting and started pulling. Then the motor became very quiet and the cutting almost stopped. So I adjusted the motor and it started sputtering again. And then it went silent/ stopped working. It will return. Maybe it's bad? It's hard to say, but we'll try something different.
