What I like: Makes a round egg. The egg does not flow out of the ring. What I don't like: all other ingredients can be mixed as you like. I tried to recreate a McMuffin out of eggs. How it works? You put the bottom half of the bread in the bottom ring. Any fillings (meat, cheese, etc.) can be placed directly on the bread. The problem is that as it cooks, the juices are absorbed by the bun, causing the bread to become soggy. In the top ring, crack the egg and place the top half of the bread DIRECTLY ON top of the raw egg. The bread sinks into the egg and you have almost no bread sticking out at the top. I also don't care about the texture of the bread once it's cooked; The outer part, pressed against the heating element, cooks almost too well in the time it takes for the egg to be fully cooked. I HATE runny egg, my egg needs to be fully cooked. If you like eggs that are over light or medium, this will be less of an issue for you. I really wish the bread bins were separate from the wet ingredients. It would be easy to solve most of the device problems. The cheese (if you're using semi-hard cheese) will melt quickly, running over the edges of the muffin and starting to burn on the bottom plate. It's also difficult to clean. don't see myself ever using it. It was supposed to be a quick and easy way to make breakfast in the morning when I'm in a hurry and save me the hassle of constantly driving to McDonald's, but I'm bringing it back and looking for a better design.
