According to Kensington website this lock fits most Dell laptops. It is not. After installation, the latch does not pull tight enough to press against the side of the computer and can be easily removed by hand. I tried two lock patterns and six different Dell models (I1420, D610, D600 and D620). and all do not fit. I don't know if Kensington or Dell is to blame, but Kensington support is useless - they can't read email content and can't respond to it intelligently. Another point that applies to many laptops is that even if you successfully lock it with a lock like this, the drive (with all your data) is removed with a small screw, as are the memory chips and battery (no screws !)
