Forced into it. Finally got whacked hard
I feel like a dork wearing it. I've been riding for over 60 years and never landed on my head until four weeks ago. But the nuero docs tell me another head injury and I will be a dork 24/7. (The other head injuries were not equine related.) Like all helmets it is hotter than hell. I don't wear it doing groundwork. It is time to leave the green rank and skittish to the younger generation.
