Doesn't seal radiator cap

I'm a bit confused. I had 2 Ford caps and 1 New Stant cap that needed to be checked to find out what was leaking in the reservoir cap area. All 3 lids could not be closed properly with this adapter. I'm not exactly sure if it's the caps or this adapter. You can see the bubbles so they definitely meet here.
