I really wanted to be excited about this item. The printer (essentially a receipt printer that uses thermal paper instead of ink) is SUPER cute and easy to use. But the app you have to download to use the printer is absolutely terrible. I'd love to see what all the printing capabilities would look like on such a fun little device, but the app uses a bitmap diffusion filter on the images you want to print, which isn't necessarily a low-quality recipe, but this app does produce one Image at such a low resolution that almost all detail is lost. I tried to find another way to connect but it doesn't show up as a device and I can only connect to the printer when using the app. In fact, it ends up at the bottom of my "fancy but not very useful accessories" box. I'm hoping for an update that will allow me to use the printer better.
