I got this for the cold winter nights when Jiji wanted to go on the porch but would get too cold to stay out. He didn’t like it much for the first five minutes he had it on, but I (and he!) was patient and just kept putting it on him for longer and longer increments of time each day, giving him a treat, pets, and a lot of "Good boy!”s.The first time he had it on, he walked around by moving a few feet at a time, sitting for a moment, then moving again and couldn’t jump. Now, he freely runs around, jumping to and fro (he’s a very active cat). He seems very happy he can go out on the screened-in porch and still be cozy on cold nights. I give him a treat every time I take it off, and he seems quite content.It fits him well. He’s an average-sized, 13 lb American shorthair and I got him a size Medium. My only complaint is that it’s a bit tight in the arm area. I might try to order a size larger next time and see how it goes.The fabric quality is warm and wonderful. From the other reviews, I was expecting good quality and I got good quality.
