drove my mother's 2010 Ford Escape after seeing the drop in mpg and experiencing loss of power and bumps under light acceleration. The CEL came on and the scanner showed code P144A. It sits right in front of the engine and offers plenty of room to work; A few screws and plastic tubes and all was good. Less than 5 minutes from start to finish. After a few months and several thousand kilometers everything is still running smoothly. I always try to use Motorcraft on our Fords and ACDelco on our Chevrolets. OE is the way to go.
