The button clasp itself is fine, no issues, but the tools provided to assemble require more skill than me. It is very difficult to hold the punch and hammer and keep the fasteners in line on the anvil while striking the punch. I found that the two parts of the clasp were rather warped and didn't fit together to snap together when completed. But I've found that using my riveting tool with a small nail (6p?) works like a charm. Insert the nail through the base, fabric, and snap piece, then slowly squeeze the tool and push with only one hand, making sure all pieces are aligned, until the pieces are securely riveted together. Make sure that the head of the nail used does not deform the latch by compressing the rivet. It won't work for a flat button cap unless you drill a 9/64" hole in the rivet and shiny dome head to put a nail through everything.
